This website provides course objects (including but not limited to course information, syllabi, online videos, handouts, assignments, exams, quizzes, announcements, notification emails, and written reference materials) and various services (including but not limited to announcements, email delivery, discussion forum usage, and provision of course information). By entering the platform and starting to use the services, the user represents that they have agreed to, understood, and accepted all contents of these terms. If the user is a minor or a person with limited legal capacity, their legal guardian (such as a parent or guardian) or an authorized educational unit (such as their school, class teacher, or collaborating local government education bureau) must read, understand, and agree to these terms before use. If the user registers or participates in courses through a list uniformly provided by the aforementioned educational units, it is deemed that the unit has obtained the necessary consent.

Modifications: This website reserves the right to modify or change the content of these Terms of Service at any time. Revised terms will become effective immediately upon announcement on the website’s official site or notification via email. Users are advised to stay informed of such modifications or changes at any time. Continued use of the service after any modification or change to the terms constitutes acceptance and agreement to the modified content. Governing Law: The interpretation and application of these terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of this website's services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taiwan Hsinchu District Court as the court of first instance.

Purpose and Types of Collection: For the purposes of course management (such as class placement, grade calculation, announcements, newsletters, exam proctoring, certificate production, and meeting the administrative requirements of various schools) and improving the quality of digital learning, this website will collect users' personal data. The types of data include personal information (including but not limited to name, nickname, email address, identity status, school, student ID, department/class, etc.) and course data (including but not limited to test scores, learning records, answer records, and system clickstreams) for interpretation and analysis. The scope of use shall not exceed what is necessary for platform services and educational research purposes.
Usage Period and Parties: Within the duration of the collection purpose or the period required for business execution, partner schools, instructors, and public or private agencies with business dealings may reasonably utilize the data after an application review. If a user participates in a course through a school or a specific project, you agree that this website may provide learning records, grades, and evaluation results to the partner unit or the affiliated school for the purpose of credit recognition or academic management.
Personal Data Rights: To implement the protection of users' right to self-determination over their personal data, according to Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act:
(1) This website shall not require users to waive or limit their rights to exercise personal data protection
(2) Users may inquire about, request to view their personal data, or request a copy of their personal data. This website may charge necessary costs in accordance with Article 14 of the Personal Data Protection Act.
(3) Users may request to supplement or correct their personal data; however, according to Article 19 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Data Protection Act, users must appropriately explain the reasons and facts.
(4) Users may request to stop the collection, processing, or utilization of their personal data, or request its deletion. However, where required by law or necessary for business execution, this website may decline the user's request.

3. Community Standards and Sanctions:System administrators have the right to remove inappropriate remarks if the content posted by users involves the following situations; severe cases may lead to account suspension:

4. Fees: Most of the open course resources provided by this website are free of charge. V. Course Services and Disclaimers
The website and instructors reserve the right to adjust course schedules, assignments, tests, or evaluation methods, and have the obligation to notify students as soon as possible.
1. Course Adjustments: Course Completion Certificates" are issued to those who pass evaluations; their validity is determined by the accepting institution. Certificates do not include credit recognition from specific schools, and forging certification documents is strictly prohibited. To prevent accidental withdrawal or malicious score-farming, the learning records of any user who re-enrolls in the same course after withdrawal will be automatically restored.
2. Research Standards: Learning records will be used for group reporting in an anonymous format that does not contain direct identifying information. External institutions requesting research data must apply using the "ewant Data Request Application Form" , clearly stating the purpose of the research, the identity of the researchers, the items of data requested, and the expected analysis results. Data may only be obtained after approval by the center's data analyst and supervisor, and should ideally pass Institutional Review Board (REC/IRB) review.
3. Service Suspension and Termination: The website may suspend, interrupt, or terminate all or part of its services under the following circumstances:
(1) For necessary operations such as relocation, replacement, upgrade, maintenance, or system optimization of relevant hardware and software. The website will announce the suspension on the homepage seven days in advance. However, this does not apply to temporary, urgent, or reasons not attributable to the website (e.g., natural disasters, emergency security threats, line failures, etc.).
(2) Based on operational development, cooperative licensing, excessive maintenance costs, aging hardware/software, or outdated content, the website may terminate or interrupt all or part of the services, including taking down course content and stopping external provision. The website will announce the termination on the homepage thirty days in advance. After termination, students will no longer be able to log in or browse course materials, but may still inquire about course grades and download certificates within three years. For service termination or content removal due to the aforementioned operational or technical reasons, students shall not claim any compensation or damages.
